WeAct Studio STM32H7R3Z8 Core Board

lbuild module: modm:board:weact-h7r3z8

Documentation

Board with an STM32H7R3Z8J6 with 64 kB internal flash, 8 MB external XSPI flash, a 24 MHz HSE and 32.768 kHz LSE crystal, one LED and one user button. It has two USB-C ports: USB HS with the internal HS PHY (PM5/PM6) and USB FS (PM12/PM11).

The core is clocked at 600 MHz, the bus matrix at 300 MHz. The power supply is configured as direct SMPS.

Programming

Since the board has no programmer on the board, you can use DFU (Device Firmware Update via USB) to program the board. A DFU command is integrated into the modm:build:scons tool:

scons program-dfu

Note that the DFU bootloader is only available on the USB FS port (PM12/PM11).

Logging

To log via RTT attach a debugger to the SWD port and select the RTT option:

<option name="modm:board:weact-h7r3z8:logger">RTT</option>

Then log using:

scons log-rtt

USB

Use Board::initializeUsbFs() or Board::initializeUsbHs() and select the TinyUSB port with modm:tinyusb:device:port. Board::initializeUsb() initializes both ports.

This module is only available for stm32h7r3z8j6.
